We got an extra side of mac and cheese too. Karen ordered the Midnight Train which comes with four jumbo chicken wings and a waffle. Of course you cannot go to a chicken and waffles place without getting the chicken and waffles. We take our seat and open up the menu to a world of southern hospitality. The minute you walk in you are greeted by wall to wall pictures of the many celebs that have come in as well as the smell of delicious fried chicken. Lucky for us, Gladys Knight’s was only a walk away from our hotel. After being up at 5:45am and being on a plane for four and a half hours and only eating plane food, you can say that we were pretty hungry. We arrived in Atlanta around 4:30pm and got to our hotel at about 6. Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles was actually our first stop in Atlanta and it set the tone for the rest of our trip to the South.
